Online Payees with Chase
This discussion is public.
Recently switched from Quicken 2008 to Moneydance as I upgraded to Lion. All was fine until I tried to set up online payees. I go through the whole window and click done and it adds nothing. I have called Chase and they do NOT support MD. I added a payee at Chase, still cannot add it in MD.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Jessica,
Conversation with Chase. As long as we can connect it is a problem at the other end.
Ugh!

Hi Debra,
Unfortunately, I'm a bit at a loss as to what's going on here. According to your logs, you are connecting just fine. However, there don't seem to be any payees on the server for you to download. It's almost as if you somehow have two different lists of payee's, one on the website and one for direct connect.
At this point, starting over is a good idea. Create a completely new Moneydance file, and try connecting through that. Be very careful to enter all of the correct account information. You maybe also want to disable and re-enable direct connect on your Chase account before starting in the new file. I believe you can do so on the Chase website. Hopefully, by starting over, you can clear out the oddity in the account and connect properly.

Hi Lawrence,
There are two different 'Chase Investment Sevices' listed as being supported by Moneydance. http://moneydance.com/fi
Look to Chapter 9 of the Moneydance User Guide for instructions in setting up Investment accounts and adding securities.
