Blank Account on Mobile App

On the mobile app on Iphone. There has always been a blank account at the top of the list. I can't seem to find anyway to get rid of it. There were some entries in it that I deleted which apparently were tied to other accounts. I had to recreate them in the other accounts. How do I get this off? Attached screen shot.

    Hi,
    Thank you for contacting Moneydance support.

    In order to be able to hide an account from the mobile app, you should start from the desktop version, as it is not currently possible to hide accounts from the mobile app itself.

    To achieve this, you should navigate to Tools->Accounts and click the account you wish to edit, mark it as “Inactive”, click 'OK' and restart Moneydance to retain the change.
    This will prevent it from being shown in drop-down lists in account registers and it won't be synced with your mobile devices.

    Problem is, that doesn’t show up in the desktop version. So I can’t delete or hide something that’s not there.

    Let's back a little. Jim

    In order to determine what might be causing the problem, please can you provide the information below:

    • Which version and build of Moneydance are you using? To check, open Moneydance and select Moneydance--> About Moneydance

    • Which version of the Moneydance mobile app are you using?
      To check, press and hold the app icon, tap App info, and scroll to the bottom to see the version number.

    • Can you let us know which operating system you're running on your computer?

    • Is your data file stored in the default location?

    Please note: if you are syncing your data with a mobile device, or another system - you should NOT move your data file to a shared folder location, like Dropbox. The file should remain on your local system if your data is being synced or shared, as outlined here.

    • When you navigate to File->Syncing which sync method do you have selected? Dropbox Folder or Dropbox Connection?

    • When you navigate to Moneydance > Settings/Preferences > Network, is the feature "Sync data with mobile devices" selected?

    • Finally, is your most recent data showing on your phone or on your computer? To veify this enter a "dummy"" transaction on each device and allow a few seconds for them to sync. They should display exactly the same transactions.
