I am not sure why the edit to your transaction reminder did not
result in a reminder for an overdue transaction. I just followed
your steps and ended up with an overdue reminder for the 9th and an
upcoming reminder for the 23rd. Is it possible you recorded the
transaction and then deleted it? If that is the case it is
necessary to delete the transaction reminder and recreate it. As
the reminder would have 'believes' that the first entry has been
made. Alternatively you could manually enter the transaction with
its splits for the 9th.

I am sorry for the inconvenience.

Sincerely

transaction (because I hadn't put the splits in) modified the
reminder and then tried to back date. So now I know I can't just
change it that way. No problem - now that I know how the system
works.
