When editing or entering a new transaction look at the top of
the category selector list, there is a button called "Split..." If
you click it it will bring up a split entry window.

I do not see any button called split on top of category
selector. There is just the Menu bar! Perhaps you can send me a
screen shot!

Thanks

will bring up the split transaction function. It is the button at
the top above the category choices. Once you click on that, and
then click on new split over and over until you're done, you will
be able to split your transaction into its constituent parts.

Attached you will find a screen shot of a dummy account showing
the split transaction button.

Please let me know if I can be of further assistance,

add the split when adding a new transaction however.

Thomastag:infinitekind.tenderapp.com,2009-01-14:Comment/2715062009-07-30T07:02:00Z2009-07-30T07:02:00ZSplitting transactions

Thomas,

You may split an already added transaction simply by clicking on
the up/down arrows of the category column. This brings up the list
of categories with the split button at the top.

window is active at the bottom, the up/down arrows are disable. I
closed the bottom new transaction window and the split button
appeared. Thanks

Thomas
