Hi, I purchased 2011 and just upgraded to 2012.
Here is my problem.
I have a home network.
I have a couple computers in my house. With 2011, I had the client install on both my laptop and my server/desktop. Both machines accessed the same moneydance file on a network drive. Now, with 2012, I can't "open' the money dance file on the network. How do I resolve this?

Scott - Attached is the most recent files screenshot. I did as requested
    and here is the output.

    Starting Moneydance 2011r2 (803)
    Settings Folder: C:\Users\Owner\.moneydance
    OS: Windows 7 6.1 x86
    Java: 1.6.0_21 (Sun Microsystems Inc.)
netsync extension adding listener for services of type _mdncsync._tcp.local.
    netsync: scanning for existing services...
    svc type added: _apple-mobdev._tcp.local.
Moneydance version not recent enough... manual upgrade

I don't know why there is a bunch of jibberish in the last response but I
    tried to delete it.

    Hi Nichole,

Can you try renaming the file that you're trying to open to:

and see if you can open it with Moneydance then?

What is the advantage of Moneydance 12.5 compared with the Moneydance it replaces, or succeeds?

    Hi Frankrader,
Here is the blog entry on Moneydance 12.5:
At this point, with the release of Moneydance 2014, it is an outdated version:
