    Hi Lisa

Yes, you can set up multiple checking accounts. To create the account select "New Account" from the Accounts menu. Choose Bank for the account type and enter the specific account information from the resulting window. The process varies for connecting the account to your banks computers depending on what service your bank offers. i.e. They my offer Direct Connect which allows for downloading transactions directly into Moneydance. They might only offer Web Connect which means they provide you with a file that you download from their website and import into Moneydance.

There is a know bug in the current release which causes problems if you have multiple bank accounts with the same bank. This is fixed in the latest preview version. If you have multiple accounts with the same bank let me know and I'll instruct you on how to obtain the preview version.

We don't currently offer live help. However we have a number of support staff helping people with their enquirers through this web site.

    Sincerely Ben Spencer

I downloaded Moneydance 2008 to try it out and I think I encountered this problem. I have a checking & savings account with the same bank, supported by your software for Direct Connect.

I only have one account number with the bank, for online access. When I download online transactions, only those transactions occurring in my savings account are downloaded. Is this fixed in the preview version you're mentioning?
