account to go into the register. Click "New Transaction." Enter the
check you want to print into the blank transaction. Be sure to
select {Print} in the Check# field. Press "Enter" when you are done
to record the transaction into the register.</p>
<p>Then you just select Actions > Print Checks in the drop-down
menu near the top of the screen.</p>
<p>You can configure the layout of the various check fields in the
Preferences > Check Printing.</p></div>John Seldentag:infinitekind.tenderapp.com,2009-01-14:Comment/4441102009-10-10T01:21:46Z2009-10-10T01:21:46ZPrinting checks<div><p>Thank you for quick response.</p>
<p>Everything worked well except I couldn't get it to print
vertically.<br>
After all calibrations were made<br>
I still couldn't get it to print vertically. Can I try something
else?</p>
<p>Thank You<br>

either. Fortunately, I discovered that my printer accepts partial
pages of checks even if I insert them long-end-first (i.e., the
"wrong" way), so you might try that. Otherwise, maybe the
Moneydance folks have a better idea how to do this.</p></div>John Seldentag:infinitekind.tenderapp.com,2009-01-14:Comment/4441102009-10-10T19:30:08Z2009-10-10T19:30:08ZPrinting checks<div><p>Thanks for you help.</p>
<p>Unfortunately I'l probably go back to Quickbooks since I already
have<br>
their preprinted checks. I really would liked to have had this<br>
Moneydance program worked for me but the check printing problem
will<br>
not work for me.<br>
Thank you for your time.<br>
Maybe down the line they'll fix it and I'll try again.</p></div>Jon Wolterstag:infinitekind.tenderapp.com,2009-01-14:Comment/4441102009-10-28T20:17:23Z2009-10-28T20:17:23ZPrinting checks<div><p>Hi</p>
<p>It seems on my printer setup that after i click the print button
of the "Print Checks" window I get the driver dialog for my
printer. If I go into the page setup tab for the driver I can
change the page orientation to Landscape and this has the effect of
printing checks vertically.</p>
<p>Have either of you tried this?</p>
<p>See attached screenshot for the options I selected. Though I
expect this will be different with different printer drivers.</p>

don't have a setting to adjust the page orientation. This is true
for both of my printers. I'm using a Mac though, it looks like
you're using Ubuntu.</p></div>John Seldentag:infinitekind.tenderapp.com,2009-01-14:Comment/4441102010-03-16T14:14:35Z2010-03-16T14:14:39ZPrinting checks<div><p>I was having the same problem, could not change the orientation
to match my checks. the print layout box does not show orientation
clearly, but the left two choices are portrait, the right two
landscape. hope this helps, MWM</p></div>myro8
