The only options are Xfr, Buy, Sell, etc. - but no "deposit". So - how do I take a cash deposit and log it into the investment account?

In a new transaction, select one of the options (Xfr, Buy, Sell, etc.). If you double click on this entry, I think you can edit it to say Deposit. I thought there was a way to edit the menus list, but I haven't found it yet. It may have come up on the old forum.

    I found this: http://getsatisfaction.com/theinfinitekind/topics/add_further_payment_methods

Not sure it will do what you want.

I found this and it works:

While looking at the Home Page, select the menu item "Account"->"Edit". This will display the dialog for your overall account information. Use the "Up" and "Down" buttons to the right to change the order of "Check# Items", the "New" button to create a new item, or "Delete" to remove items you do not want.

Mary, Thank you for answering this question. We should make it more intuitive to edit this list.
