    Hi Lester,
This is a Mac OS question & as such is nothing to do with MoneyDance.

However, here is a brief guide as to one of the ways to extract the Data Set from Time Machine.

Enter Time Machine & select the date you wish to restore your MD Data Set from.

In the top search box enter the name you gave to your MD Data Set. The default name is "Personal Finances". Click search. You will then be presented with a list of files that meet your search entry.

Once you have found the Data Set you wish to restore, go to the top icon "Action". In the drop down list you will see Copy. Select Copy. Now you can close Time Machine & go to Finder & paste the Data set somewhere where you can find it easily.

There are several different ways you can import it back into MD, but that’s a different question, so I presume you know how to do that. If not ask here again.

I used to have Quicken for Windows which I really liked.  I then got a Mac and Quicken was intolerable.   That is when I purchased Moneydance.  So far I like the program.  I would like to know if there is a way to set it up so with one click I can enter all monthly bills and or deposits into the registry so I only have to edit the amount.  I apologize for my limited knowledge.  I still am in the phase of being fearful that if I make a mistaken click, civilization as we know it wil cease to exist
