I have been holding off updated to v2019 until the bugs have been worked out. Evan, are you on an Apple Mac, or PC? Hope you get a response to your questions soon. Got the check problem solved, thanks to Kevin. I just needed to reset.
I realized what Ctrl-D does in MD, different from any other program, which means delete something. Just press Delete in MD.
I am resorting to alphabetizing the entire bank account to find my charity checks in alphabetized order.
I am slowly getting the export from my bank to work but the blue dots and confirm/merge function is confusing. I checked with the bank and the Quicken QFX export is not fully compatible. There is something in the Quicken QFX file that Quicken uses but confuses MD. Someone said to put it in Notepad and delete some data to make it work. I am not that savvy.
I still cannot get back to Bank Account when leaving Income and Expense, Detailed.
I still haven't deleted the files with an X after them. But have been able to reconcile my two bank accounts. So, one of these days I will get up the nerve and delete the X files.
I still have a question on how to backup to my flash drive. It shouldn't be that hard.
Again, I thank you and Kevin for the help you are giving me. I wish there was good documentation I could download, rather than going from one FAQ to another.
Hope the weather there is as nice as here in Virginia Beach, VA
