We run Apple Macs with the latest Mojave OSX. I have been watching this forum and it seems most issues w MD 2019 are very computer version specific. If anyone is running MD 2019 on Apple Macs and has any advice, pro or con, on the update, I would love to hear them. Thanks.

marktag:infinitekind.tenderapp.com,2009-01-14:Comment/471084722019-03-28T15:04:40Z2019-03-28T15:04:40ZUpgrade to MD 2019 ?

Sure would like some input on this post - I don't want to install the upgrade to v2019 and then have all kinds of problems that could have been avoided by waiting a few more months. Thanks! Mark W.

marktag:infinitekind.tenderapp.com,2009-01-14:Comment/471084722019-03-28T17:42:19Z2019-03-28T17:42:19ZUpgrade to MD 2019 ?

I am not support staff, just a user.

I can’t comment directly as I am a windows user but my upgrade to 2019.2(1860 the preview build I am currently running) from 2017.10(1706) is not giving me any problems.
If your upgrade is a free upgrade, you could do an EXPORT BACKUP of your 2017 data set, put it in a safe place, then upgrade from https://infinitekind.com/preview
And try things out for a short time.
If you hit problems, very unlikely, uninstall 2019 and reinstall 2017 from https://infinitekind.com/download_2017
and restore from your 2017 backup.

Hope this helps

derekkent23tag:infinitekind.tenderapp.com,2009-01-14:Comment/471084722019-03-28T19:21:18Z2019-03-28T19:21:18ZUpgrade to MD 2019 ?

Thanks for your sound suggestions, which I will follow then report back to this forum if I encounter any problems.

mark
