Location of data file
I have followed the instructions re MD 2012 Data File Locations for Mountain Lion but each location returns message "folder not found". When I try to access internal backup files thru the documents folder and package contents I find only my current file and a file from MD 2011. I cannot find any recent MD 2012 data files on Time Machine backups. Does MD 2012 keep 5 recent copies of data file as MD 2011? Please advise me of steps to take to locate and restore from a recent backup.

Hi llewisjr,
Sorry for our delayed response! If you created a new data set in Moneydance 2012 and didn't move it, then the data set will be in the Help -> Show Documents Folder folder--the same will be true if you used the "Convert and Import" option when opening a .md file in Moneydance 2012. If you didn't do one of those things, then your data set will be wherever you put it--if you're not sure where that is, you can search your computer for:
.moneydance
files and folders and see if you can locate your data set that way.
The checkpoints are stored in that folder/bundle now, under the "checkpt" folder, so they are still being created, just in a different location than when we were using .md files.
