Below is attached what I have installed and use. I also found
out that some of the other users complained that they can
not have their mutual funds updated as they are from Canada and
their
mutual funds are not listed on Yahoo Finance site. I never had
that
problem with Quicken - it was finding all of them with no
problems,
but I do not know what site did it use.

to list a "." and then a letter to indicate the exchange the
security is listed on. So for example a security from the London

Yahoo Finance and it's data is whatever their servers are feeding

I'm sorry I haven't got back to you sooner. The prices are only
updated if yahoo updates the price for the web service Moneydance
connects to. There is a problem we have experienced with yahoos
service in the past where by they show the price for a particular
symbol through their web site but do not provide the price through
the service we connect with. This issue was discussed here:

Please give me an example of one of the ticker symbols you are
having this problem with and I'll test it to see if it is the same
problem.

Currently we have no plans to obtain price information form
another service however if the problem becomes more pervasive we
will definitely investigate alternative pricing services.

finance.yahoo.com

I am afraid if this is correct Moneydance cannot automatically
update the prices of these funds.

This seems to be the case for Quicken also. A search of their

update.

It might be worth contacting you fund manager and asking them
what ticker symbol you should use for look up with
finance.yahoo.com

It seems that periodically finance.yahoo.com has stoped

Moneydance will not update these numbers.

There has been some discussion about using the
finance.google.com server as well as yahoo. I just checked to see
if the funds you are invested in are listed on google and even
there not all of your ticker symbols return results.

I agree we would provide a better service for our Canadian users
if we used a service that provided prices for these funds. If we
find a service with a more complete listing than yahoo I imagine it
would be a priority of ours to implement a connection.

I'm sorry that this has not met your needs,
