cloud or local
Is my data stored on cloud or local to a PC (i.e., can I access from multiple computers)?

I am not support staff, just a user.
Your data is store on your hard drive.
However, Moneydance has an internal syncing engine which makes it possible to access the data on other computers, Windows, Mac or Linux or on mobile devices such a phones. You can even have the same data open on different device and make changes at the same time. The data is synced using Dropbox. If you are not syncing to mobile devices you can use other cloud servers. The data is end to end AES256 encrypted with the key only being help on the devices.
Hope this helps
