<p>You may have inadvertently collapsed the Date column.</p>
<p>You should be able to restore it by positioning your mouse cursor over the dividing line at the left side of the register, (your cursor will NOT turn into the familiar double-facing arrow cursor) then hold down the left mouse button and drag the dividing line to the right.</p>
<p>If this is not the case, perhaps a screenshot of what you are experiencing would better suffice.</p>
<p>Keep in mind that these are public forums. Make sure that there is no sensitive information in the screenshot before attaching it.</p>

<p>Although I'd tried that this time it DID work! I'd probably thought that without the correct icon it wouldn't work and your solution most certainly DID!</p>
