    I'm a fellow user.

In the most general of terms the approach taken is usually something like, download the same version of Moneydance that you are currently using, install it on the new machine and use something like a USB key to copy the data between systems.

In practical terms there are ancillary questions which can cause changes to this process. Things like is the system involved with syncing between systems and if so what is the machines role in the relationship, do you intend to keep using the older system.

With a Mac questions arise around versions, what version of the OS is on the old system and what specific version of Moneydance is on it, is this version compatible with what OS version is on the new machine.

Thanks for that, but how do I download money dance without paying for it again?

Assuming you purchased Moneydance directly you can download Moneydance 2019 from:

    https://infinitekind.com/download-moneydance-personal-finance-software

    Earlier versions from:
