Morningstar Portfolio Mutual Funds

Hi.

I recently purchased Moneydance and am trying to enter my Morningstar mutual fund information into the program. I have entered all the initial "buy" transactions into Moneydance manually and am now faced with the question of how to expedite this process. In the Morningstar website (after I login to my account), there are many reallocations and trades of the mutual funds done every month. These transactions can only be exported as a CSV file. When I run the Text File Importer, it does not give me the option of importing this data into my investment account in Moneydance. In fact, none of the "Investment" accounts are listed as options to import the CSV file into, only bank and credit cards are listed. Is there a way to import CSV files from Morninstar Managed Portfolios into the investment account I have created in MD?

Thanks,
AM

    AM,
I'm so sorry, it appears that your query slipped through the cracks of tech support. We've been very busy with lots of new users and have let a few cases slip through unanswered. My apologies! Is the problem your having still persisting? If so, hopefully we can help you work it out.
    My apologies again,

    AM,

I am sorry to say this is a limitation of the text file importer extension, and I do not have a current work-around. This is because the format of bank transactions is so different from that of investment account transactions.
