<p>It sounds like you have named your data set “Checking 01”.</p>
<p>To confirm this, click FILE (MONEYDANCE on Mac) – OPEN. This will list your data sets and if you see “Checking 01” then this is confirmed.<br>
The following is a process to change your data set name.<br>
First do an EXPORT BACKUP under FILE (MONEYDANCE on Mac).<br>
Click HELP – SHOW DOCUMENT FOLDER this will open a file explorer at the default data set location. Close Moneydance. A data set is a folder not a file containing other folders and file. Its naming convention yourdatasetname.moneydance. Rename this data set folder retaining “.monydance”. When you open Moneydance it will open in the Welcome to Moneydance window double click on your new data set name on the right to open.</p>
<p>If you don’t believe the issue is your data set name post a screen shot.</p>
