I am not support staff, just a user.

There is a selection of date formats under FILE (MONEYDANCE on Mac) – PREFERENCES - DATE FORMAT dropdown.
Move to another register so change takes effect.

    Hope this helps.

    Thanx, Derek

Found it and it works for newly entered transactions.

Is it possible to change all previously entered Tx or only future ones?

    Thanx

    Hi Tony.

Changing the date format should change everything, anywhere a date appears, past present, future.
If this is not happening post a screen shot to illustrate the issue.

    Hope this helps

    Hi Tony,

I can see you’ve received a reply from one of our knowledgeable Moneydance customers.
To add to this useful information I thought it would be worth mentioning that for the changes to apply fully, it is advisable to restart Moneydance.

I hope this information is helpful. Please let me know if you have further questions or need any assistance.

    Hello Maddy,

I did have the problem of the date formatting not working across the whole of my files/accounts.

Once i re-started Moneydance dates are all working in my preferred dd/mm/yyyy format.

Thanks very much for your help.

    Best

    Tony
