Moneydance backups

I normally use Moneydance on a laptop, but it has developed problems. I need to transfer the files to another computer (Moneydance already installed), so I can continue uninterrupted. Keeping up-to-date with bank info is very important, so I need to know where to find the necessary files to transfer data from one computer to the other. System: Windows 10 x64 Home.

  1. Backups

    Moneydance backups are essentially 'saves' of your entire data set, at the time the backup file was created or modified.

    The backup file will have the file extension .moneydancearchive and is a compressed file.

    You can configure your automatic backup settings within Preferences --> Backups.
