Hi Henry,
I'm not from IK Support, but one way that I thought of would be to open the register (in each account) and select the last transaction, hold the shift key (in windows), scroll to the top of the register and click on the oldest transaction (depending on sort order) to "Select All" transactions (highlighted in blue), then right-click to delete all transactions. ALL accounts would have to have transactions deleted as they may have transfers among them.
I would make a backup prior to doing this File > Export Backup
Of course, if you just wanted to create a new Moneydance File, you would just select File > New. You would have to set up each account again.
Regards,
Tony

Toni (R)Thanks Tony for your reply, I'll give it a try.I realise that I could just start a new file from scratch but I was trying to avoid having to re-enter all that information again and I was sure that there would be an easy answer
