It is not possible to change the currency of account once it has transactions in it.

The time to set the currency is during the import process. The Import screen shows each account, what sort of account it is and the currency of the account. This is the time when the currency should be changed.

You may also like to consider extracting exchange rates from Quicken and loading them into Moneydance before you start importing transactions. This could well allow for inter-account transfers to be handled correct. However from what I have seen Quicken and Moneydance store exchange rates differently so rates extracted from Quicken need to be inverted before being imported into Moneydance.

We often handle changes by created a new account using the correct parameters and then using Batch Change (you can read about that at https://infinitekind.tenderapp.com/kb/register-and-transactions/bat...) to move the transactions, I have not tried this with accounts in different currencies so cannot be certain on how it would be handled.

dwg
