How do I enter a security dividend and tax credit when the dividend is transferred to a bank account?

Could you elaborate a little more on the tax credit you have received?
There are two ways you can transfer a dividend received. The best way of handling the transaction though often depends on the exact nature of it. For example where I am we have franked and unfranked dividends and you can receive one type or both types in the one transactions and the most appropriate approach depends on which it is.
