<p>You may need to enter an 'Initial Balance' to reconcile the
'Cash Balance' column.</p>
<p>To do so, open Moneydance to the investment account in
question.<br>
From the Moneydance menu bar, go to Account > Edit Account.<br>
In the resulting window you can enter the 'Initial Balance'.</p>
<p>Keep in mind that the 'Cash Balance' column represents only the
Cash in the account and NOT the value of the underlying
investments.</p>
<p>To update price quotes, run the Quotes and Exchange Rates
Updater Extension. Provided that your investments are listed at
yahoo.finance.com, the Q&ER updater will update the quotes.</p>
