1:10 reverse stock split - how to handle this?
Hi guys
How do I handle a 1 for 10 reverse stock split?
I didn't have any shares when the split happened but I'm manually entering historic data and there's a reverse split that happens
the split happens 2025/12/02 - my fistt share bought is 2025/12/15.
How do I capture the split so that the graph makes sense going forward?

You enter the historic transactions as they would have been then - i.e. pre-split.
And add the split on tools/securities/splits add 10:1. That will change the portfolio display and correct the shares downwards..

Oh hang on.... your historic purchase was AFTER the split... Then no issue. Do as I said, just enter the data as it was ,and the split... The split 1:10 will not actually impact your shares as it's pre-purchase.

Hi Stuart, thanks for replying
Not sure I'm doing it right, the price changes quite significantly on the graph when I add a stock split, it no longer resembles what I see on Yahoo.
Shouldl I rather not add a split since I don't have any shares before the split date?

Perhaps share the stock ticker?
Are you sure you have your dates correct?
Send screenshot of the buy transaction, and also the price history for that date, and also show the stock split screen..

Hi Stuart, sorry for the late reply only able to get back to youo now.
the ticker is TLRY
I have the dates correct.
I've also atttached the files that you asked for
I've shown the stock split screen without a stock split (price chart with arrow and circles) and with a stock split.
The arrow is roughly where the stock split would have happened.
With the stock split it shifts the price in a undesirable way that doesn't reflect the Yahoo price chart.
Only thing I'm confused of is the price I need to enter when creating the stock split, I used the closing price of the day the stock split happend, 2 Dec 2025. You'll let me know if I'm incorrect here, maybe that's my mistake
I've deleted the stock split right now, not sure if this will affect me down the line.
Hope all the screen shots help
