Stock price error
I frequently get the message when quitting MD that it was unable to get a stock price, yet the stock is a major symbol, and shows up in multiple quote locations. I'm particularly puzzled by the "to USD" notice, which everything I have is USD. So I don't understand the error message or how to remedy it.

That looks like a message from Q & ER when it cannot retrieve a price. The price not being available from the quote source is only one reason for not being able to retrieve the price. Changes to the source can also lead to this error as well as sites taking evasive action, as Yahoo will do if it perceives there are too many requests, too quickly coming from a system.

Got it. Since the symbol changes, I suspect then it is too many requests coming from the system.
By only “gripe” is that it takes a minute for the dialog box to go away because you can NOT click the red button to close it. You are at the mercy of the program timing, whihc interrupts the Apple Shutdown command due to the delay.
