Fidelity
I've been able to download my Fidelity Investments in the past but can no longer connect to Fidelity and get an error: I'm sorry an error has occurred: javax.net.ssl.sslhandshakeexception: sun.security.validator.validatorexception: no trusted certificate found.
Any ideas on how to resolve?

Hi Stacy,
What version and build number of Moneydance are you using?
To find out, from the Moneydance menu bar, go to Help > About Moneydance.

Fidelity changed their security which necessitated a change in Moneydance, please download the latest version and try again.
You can download the latest stable build from:
http://infinitekind.com/download-moneydance-personal-finance-software
and the latest preview build from:
http://infinitekind.com/preview
Assuming of course that your copy of Moneydance was purchased directly from the Infinite Kind website

Thanks. That helped me reconnect with Fidelity. Now, however, it will not download the transactions. Only shows December and February transactions from every year. Shows connecting when I hit download IRA Transactions, but says 0 transactions dowloaded. Any ideas?
Thanks,

Hi Stacy,
You could try resetting the sync of the connection.
To do so, open Moneydance to the account in question.
From the menu bar, go to Online > Set Up Online Banking.
In the resulting window, click the 'Reset Sync' button.
Doing so will instruct Moneydance to download any and all available data from Fidelity's server.
Mind you that this may cause multiple duplicate txns in your register that you'll need to go through and delete.

Thanks, Kevin, but still no go. No new or old transactions downloaded. Anything else up your sleeve?

Hi Stacy,
How old are the old txns? How new are the new txns?
It has been my experience that Fidelity only makes available a few months worth of data thru direct-connect. I confess that it has been several years since I had to reset the sync to Fidelity but if I remember correctly they provided maybe 90 days worth of data.
If your txns are beyond that time frame then you may need to manually enter those.
If that is not the case then I'm afraid that my sleeve is empty. :(
I will yield to Moneydance support to help you further.
Sorry that I couldn't be of more help.

February 2008 through february 2016, but only shows february and december transactions from each year. What about creating a new Investment account in Moneydance, setting it up to synch with Fidelity, and see if it pulls in the recent data, so I can at least get a balance, and delete the other account?
Thoughts?

Hi Stacy,
There is a Register and a Bank register for each investment account.
The tabs to select these different register reside along the top of the investment account window. Can you make sure that the 'Register' tab is accessed.
Also make sure that the 'All' filter is applied. The filter buttons are directly below the tab selectors.

Yep, have all chosen and in register. I tried adding a new investment account and downloading info to there, but no transactions showed up there either.
Thanks for all your help. Will try to touch base with Fidelity.
