your apparent 6-decimal limitation

Last month I complained that 2017 MD has a 6-decimal limit, and that prevents proper valuation of securities and portfolios. I was advised to upgrade to 2017.1 (1593), which I did. Yesterday one of my securities paid both a dividend and a capital gain, at slightly different prices. Despite my attempts to upgrade the price (Tools/Securities) to the 8-decimal average price, the security price was rounded to 6 decimals. That was not always true, as I could see on the security history.
I am aware that this issue will disappear at month-end when I enter new prices, but the issue will reappear every time a security has a new dividend whose share price is not an even 6 decimals. I don't want to spend a lot of time keeping track of differences that MD is not willing to.
Let me know if you will stick with your [unreasonable] 6-decimal limitation. In that case, I will flush MD right away.
