<p>Depending on the security, Yahoo finance supplies a downloadable
CSV file that can be imported into the security's History table in
Moneydance.</p>
<p>Enter a ticker into Yahoo finance.<br>
Look to see if the security has a 'Historical Data' link.(see
screenshot)</p>
<p>You can import the CSV by clicking the 'History' button in the
'Securities Detail' view of the security in question.</p>
<p>Once in History, click the 'Import' button. There are
instructions in there for importing the CSV file.</p>

<p>I may have misunderstood your original post.</p>
<p>If you're looking for a valuation that already exists in
Moneydance, try either the 'Portfolio' report or the 'Account
Balances' report.</p>
<p>Each report has an 'As of' Date range option.</p>
