Security types and subtypes
It seems that with Moneydance 2017, the Security Type and Subtype field are gone from the "Edit Security" pop-up. I can still set them when a security is created, but how can they be updated after that?

I think you are looking at the wrong popup.
Go into the Investment Account the security is in, click on the "Security Detail" button, select the desired security then use the Edit Security button that is under the summary data

I did notice that when I upgraded to 2017 my subtypes seem to be gone. In the "Asset Allocation" graph, I still see the pie chart divided by types and subtypes (that I had in Moneydance 2015), but when I edit any security, the list of available subtypes is empty. I can add new ones, but the old ones are gone.
