Feedback Request: Current Share Balance in Register
Have just switched from Quicken Canada 2014 to Moneydance 2017. There's a fair bit of clean up importing investment QIFs to MD, especially regarding dividend reinvestments. The number of shares you receive is not ported over.
It would be very helpful to see the current share balance in the register (like in Quicken) because it makes reconciling easier.

Hi,
Thanks for the suggestion for improving Moneydance! There's an existing ticket in our ticketing system with your suggestion from today, so I've attached it to this discussion and the developers will be looking into it.

Thanks!
There's probably already an existing ticket for standard date options in
the Reports, e.g. YTD, Last Year, Last Month, Current Month, Current Year,
etc. But since I've got your attention, thought I'd throw that out there.
Also, total # transactions in a register would be good. (These would all be
helpful features for the difficult job of porting multi-currency data and
multiple accounts.)

No problem!
Regarding reports:
You are currently able to edit the reports with multiple standard date options and a custom one. In the Report itself and Edit.
Regarding the addition to the Register:
I've filed a ticket in our ticketing system with your suggestion, so the developers will be looking into it.

Could I ask what is the status of downloading Canadian mutual fund quotes?
I am trying to download quotes to AGF Total Return Bond Fund (the US$
version). The ticker is AGF492. I can't find the fund in Google or Yahoo
Finance. But I can download quotes in Quicken.
Your support forums don't seem to have anything new on this since October
2015.
