Manual Price History and Current Value
I followed the instructions on http://help.infinitekind.com/kb/investment-accounts/security-prices to manually add some price history. The 'Current Value' box on top never changed; even after closing MD and starting it again.
Looking at the Portfolio View tab the current price is off. Should the instructions also include to manually update the 'current value' box to match the latest manually added item?
I'm on 2017.5 (1639)

Hi leptohoros,
The first sentence from the referenced link is "Moneydance offers the ability to enter historical stock prices directly from the within Investment accounts."
The key word there is 'historical'.
As you've discovered, the means to update the 'current' price is through the 'Current Price' field.
There is also an extension to make the process of manually updating price quotes a little easier. - The 'Security Price Entry' extension.

Thank you for the prompt response Kevin. Your explanation makes sense, will check out that extension.
