I have rental income from properties. the investment performance report shows the related items but the related rental income does not appear as an income in the reports
pls advice

   I need to know how you have set up your rental income, how the account is set up and which categories are being used. A screen shot of the register would be helpful.

   Also for rental income an asset account might be a better choice than an investment account. You will have more leeway with the transactions. You can also set up specific income and expense categories specific to your rental properties.

   using new account an investment account names realestate was set up and
   then each property was set up using add security screen using type other
   subtype real estate the
   income was set using tools a parent was set up as investment income and sub
   for each property
   relative screen print are attached.
   if i use ur suggestion can u tell me how to set up the accounts as then i
   can relate income and expenses such as maintainenance tax to each proerty
   attached variuos screen print

   Have you tried using miscinc and miscexp actions in the investment register to track income and expense. When you receive monies from this income you would use a transfer action to move the income into your checking. I have attached a screenshot illustrating.
