price history mismatch

I know there's an issue with Yahoo and price history, but since I download stock quotes daily I don't think what I'm seeing is related. In the screenshot attached there is a discrepancy between the current price (in the upper box by itself) and the quote for 10/13 (in the list), the most recent trading day.

Now, when I view my account balances in the summary page and the side bar, the balances agree with each other. But when I run a portfolio report I get a different balance, off by several dollars. I'm guessing maybe because of the discrepancy in the price history? What does current price mean if it's not the same as the dated quote?

There may be a issue with Yahoo updating the historical prices again. The current price for the above security seems to match the price.

Can you please attach a screen shot of the portfolio report, the portfolio view of the investment account, and a screen shot of one of the security detail pages for a security that is off.

This may also be an issue of having multiple windows open in MD and older windows not updating after you use the extesnion. Windows that are open will not refresh unless you click the link to that window on the sidebar.

I figured out what's going on as far as the prices go. If I use the extension to download quotes intraday, the value for today's date gets updated to the current price, as well as the current price box--any subsequent downloads for the rest of the day update the current price box but the dated price remains the same as the first download for the day, and never updates again after the first time. The reports use the dated value whether right or wrong, and the summary/sidebar use the current price value.

Since I'm not a day trader I guess the simplest solution is to wait until after the closing bell for the final price, which does update correctly. Not the behavior I expected though.
