Setting up an Investment (i.e. Stocks and shares} account
i have set up and am using my Bank Accounts but am having problems setting up my stocks and shares account.Please can you show me how to do it step by step

Hi Nebr32701_2,
To create an investment account, you can go to Tools -> Accounts in Moneydance, then click the New button and select Investment as the type, then follow the rest of the instructions to create the account.
Once that's done, select the account on the left sidebar column, then click the Securities Detail tab at the top of the register area. From there, click the Add Security button in the upper right quadrant of the register area and either select your security from the drop down list at the top to associate it with the investment account, or click the New Security button next to it to add a new security and then associate it with the investment account.
If you haven't already, you can also install the Quotes and Exchange rate extension by going to Extensions -> Manage extensions, then configure it to automatically update the prices of your securities by going to Extensions -> Quotes and Exchange Rates.
