Sorry, I believe my question was not clear.

I have the same Fund Investment in multiple Brokerage Accounts and would like to calculate the ROI for that Fund.
1) I want to know how can I upload this investment from multiple accounts into excel to manually perform the ROI calculation
2) Is there a MD report that calculates the ROI? The Investor Performance Report comes up with a very high Return and Spencer from MD already told me that this is a bug in the system.

Thank you,

I believe the bug in the investment performance report have been
fixed in the current preview version of Moneydance. If you did not
purchase Moneydance from the Mac App Store you can get the latest
preview version from the link below.

Thank you, the Annual return rate is now much closer. Could you please let me know how the Return Amount in the Investment Performance Report s calculated. The value in the Performance Report does not match with the Dividends I received. Thank you,

Heike

hborchert2tag:infinitekind.tenderapp.com,2009-01-14:Comment/377100932015-09-09T18:10:10Z2015-09-09T18:10:10ZInvestment in multiple accounts

Currently the return amount is calculated as:

(end_balance + sales + income) - (start_balance + buys)

and the percentage is:

return_amount / (start_balance + buys)

Could you send me a CSV export of the report that is incorrect,
along with information about what it should say? You can export the
report from the report window by clicking on the Save button,
selecting "Tab delimited" as your file format, and then choosing
where to save the file.
