cost basis
I just sold some of a stock which has 3 separate purchase dates. How can I get MD to prompt for matching shares rather than using average cost?
I can't find it...
Thanks,
Blair

Hi Blair,
From your investment register, click on the Security Detail tab. Choose the security that you would like change to lot matching, and then click the "Edit Security" button. In the window that pops up, there will be a radio button to switch from average cost to lot matching. Click OK to save your changes. You should then be prompted to match shares.
Hope that helps. Please let me know if I can be of further assistance, and thanks for using Moneydance.
