How to download portfolio

I would like to know how to download my investment portfolio to same account in Moneydance. I have provided the name of the financial institution and entered my password. Moneydance acts like it's doing something...but it doesn't do anything. No updated account information shows up after the so-called download.

I don't see a solution and the user manuals are devoid of any useful information about connecting to and downloading investment transactions.
