Accrued Interest Transaction
When selling a bond there is an accrued interest transaction downloaded from the brokerage house but is ignored by MD 2015. See the attached Console-Log.txt file and search for ACCRDINT. The sell of SEATTLE WASH WTR SYS... was entered into the transaction register correctly (see screen shot file) but the accrued interest of 781.25 was ignored by MD. This same OFX information was handled correctly by Quicken 2007.
I check the log under Quicken and found that the value is always positive so if the interest is part of a sell then the value should be positive in the register and if it part of a buy then the value should be negative.

Ian,
Attached you will find the console log for a buy of a bond as well as a screen shot of the transaction register. It shows only the purchase and not the accrued interest.
MD should be aware that there is a single OXF transaction which needs two transactions created. One for the buy/sell of the bond and the second one for the miscinc/miscexp for the accrued interest. For a buy the accrued interest is an expense, for a sell the accrued interest is income. Remember the accrued interest in the OXF transaction is always positive
John
