Investment Portfolio Reports - Badly Needed!
Sorry for the similar post, but will there ever be good investment portfolio reporting in Moneydance? The current reporting is very limited and makes the product not usable if you have any investments. I have to stay with Quicken! (which sucks badly.)
Could a new Extension provide something like this?
Moneydance is great otherwise! thanks for your help!

Hi David,
Can you tell us more specifically the features your ideal report would contain?

What we need is an online version of a performance report for our portfolio that we can keep up during the day and watch our stocks.
It would show the stuff you have now, plus current price and % change during the day, EPS, P/E, volume, and other basic info - nothing too fancy.
It would also be able to group the securities together according to industry - you could do this by letting us group by "tags" that we enter.
thanks!

I am also considering a transfer from Quicken and find the Investment Performance report limited. At a minimum, this simple performance report should include an option (with the default as "on") to include unrealized gains/losses. You can also compute performance like Quicken by comparing beginning fair value to ending fair value of the investment accounts adjusted for transfers.
