Hi Matt

Yes, you have found a bug in Quote Loader 3021.
I have reported it to Mike.
For the moment on the problem Securities can you use FT as the source.
If you have set up the securities with an exchange “.L” then you will need to edit the security to remove “.L” under TOOLS – SECURITIES first. For example AFC.L need to read AFC

See screen shot

Hope this helps.

derekkent23tag:infinitekind.tenderapp.com,2009-01-14:Comment/480629782020-02-04T20:06:29Z2020-02-04T20:06:29ZThe New Quote Loader: Security Prices Inflated

I am not support staff, just a user.
Hi Matt

By the way the the Last price in the last screen shot was save from Yahoo. If I save with FT see new screen shot.
If you run and save with FT the incorrect prices for today should be corrected.
By the way when the fix comes from Mike don’t add the “.L” back if you want to use Yahoo just set the Exch Mod to LSE

Hope this helps.

derekkent23tag:infinitekind.tenderapp.com,2009-01-14:Comment/480629782020-02-04T21:47:28Z2020-02-04T21:47:30ZThe New Quote Loader: Security Prices Inflated

Hi Derekkent23,
Many thanks for the advice. I was wondering whether a bug was the problem. I did switch from Yahoo to FT but with the same result. I shall try again and let you know whether the problem persists.

Hi Matt

I tested both Yahoo and FT. Yahoo has a bug, but FT works. As you can see from the screen shot the value for WPC is correct in the security history window under TOOLS - SECURITIES being £3.37

Hope this helps.

derekkent23tag:infinitekind.tenderapp.com,2009-01-14:Comment/480629782020-02-04T22:01:48Z2020-02-04T22:01:52ZThe New Quote Loader: Security Prices Inflated

Hi Derekkent23,
Hi Matt

Glad I was able to help.

Look out for a Quote Loader update to fix the Yahoo bug.

Have Fun,

derekkent23tag:infinitekind.tenderapp.com,2009-01-14:Comment/480629782020-02-05T08:32:12Z2020-02-05T08:32:12ZThe New Quote Loader: Security Prices Inflated

Thanks for raising this, I have submitted a fix to Sean (TIK) to rebuild the extension. It will be build 3023.

As an interim fix, if you feel up to it:

Closedown MD
Locate file pseudocurrency.dict. It is in the folder .moneydance/fmodules/.qlmeta and delete it.
Download the enclosed file into the same folder and rename it to pseudocurrency.dict
Restart MD
Run Quote Loader and do a manual run.

Mike Bray (Quote Loader Author)tag:infinitekind.tenderapp.com,2009-01-14:Comment/480629782020-02-05T10:23:11Z2020-02-05T10:23:12ZThe New Quote Loader: Security Prices Inflated

Hi Mike,
