XFR transaction automatically created, why?

If I create an investment transaction, say a month dividend, I create the transaction usually by duplicating the previous month and then changing the date. All is fine, I hit enter and the appropriate transaction is created. What I don't understand, is after entering the transaction it always creates an XFR transaction for the same amount. I discovered that I can eliminate this additional transaction by hitting escape key after entry of the original transaction. My question is why does the system do this and is there a way to turn it off rather than using the escape key. Picture below, the red circles the transaction that is created for some reason. Jack
