I cannot think of a way.

What you are wanting to do is to change the security that is used for each transaction, securities with slightly different names to Moneydance means different securities.

None of the tools that are in the Software or any of the extension I can think of provides the ability to change the security that has been used, there is also no merge capability. There are some brute force approaches but I think they would probably require just as much if not more work and could be risky.

It may be possible for a script to do it but you would need to know Python and something of the Moneydance structure to try this.

dwgtag:infinitekind.tenderapp.com,2009-01-14:Comment/481509692020-03-11T20:36:32Z2020-03-11T20:36:32ZMass change of securities

Hello,
