Banks vary with how much transaction history they make available to customers through direct connections via programs like Moneydance. 90 days sounds fairly common, although I've seen this range from a month to several years. Moneydance will just ask for and take whatever the bank's servers are set up to send. You may be able to import previous history from farther back by logging into your bank's website to download and import OFX, QFX, or QIF files (sometimes called Quicken or MS Money files). The availability of this again varies based on the bank.

For older transactions, you can either manually enter them, or enter in an initial balance for the account (by going to Account -> Edit Account from the menu bar) to bring your account balances up to date. For investment transactions that are not included in these downloads, you will likely need to manually enter in the initial purchases for proper investment tracking. One way to handle that would be to simply have the funds come out of that investment account, while increasing the initial balance to take into account those purchases. You can also create an extra account just for those initial purchases, but you'll have to remember to exclude that account from your reports, and you'll also have to enter in an initial balance for those accounts to make up for those funds.

Unfortunately, it doesn't appear that Robinhood supports direct OFX connections, which Moneydance requires in order to talk directly to a bank. The best way to get your transactions into Moneydance is to use a web browser to download them from your bank's web site. You can download into QFX, OFX, OFC, or QIF files (sometimes referred to as Quicken or MS Money files), any of which will import cleanly into Moneydance. If your bank begins to support direct OFX connections in the future, we will be happy to work with them.

Please let me know if I can be of further assistance,
