Hello

I am encountering an error or strange behavior in Mondeydance. I already have APPLE inc set up as a security in my first investment account(1) and is using it, but APPLE inc secruity is missing from the security tab in my second investment account. There are other securities in my investment account 1 that are not in investment account 2. How do i resolve or add additional security to the second account? Tried editing the securities and they are all in the "edit securities" list but i cannot access all of then in my 2nd investment account.

  1. Adding Securities

Securities are units of value that can be aggregated and tracked in investment accounts.
Examples of securities include stocks, mutual funds and bonds.

All securities are recorded relative to your base currency but can be displayed relative to any other currency.

    Creating a New Security -

You can add a new security by navigating to Tools > Securities.
Then select the + button at the bottom left of...

You have to ‘add’ the existing security to the second account before the second account holds it. Go into your 2nd investment account so you can see the register. Along the top there is a button called add security. Hope this helps?

(FYI - when stocks(securities) are held in MD, investment sub accounts with the name of the security are created - hence the add security button is actually creating a sub investment account to hold your security.)
