All Security Prices are off by a factor of 1 million

DWG, derekkent23, would appreciate your help on this. Pls see attached screenshots. I know the securities are updating. I have the latest version of Moneydance running on both Windows 10 64 bit and Linux (Ubuntu). The share prices have been correct, except for the last price in the list. I can fix that manually, but man, that's a pain. However, I CAN fix it. See the screenshot named Vanguard Emerging Markets error. I updated the share prices several times today, and the prices were $36.65, then 36.95, and then it SHOULD have been $37.20, but it comes up as .372. I'm not sure what's causing that. But, I can simply put in the right value and fix it. The problem is that the Current Price is off by a factor of 1 x 10(6) (a million). This share is $37.20. Yet the current price is 0.003695, which is the last price before todays, divided by 1,000,000.. That screws everything up. Why doesn't the current price reflect what is the most recently updated price? It is this way with every security. Seems like someone inverted something in the coding for this calculation. Thoughts?

    Hi Steve

A number of users have had problems with “Quote and Exchange Rate Updater” who’s data source is Alpha Vantage.

The examples security you posted in the other discussion was Vanguard Wellington Fund Investment Shares who’s ticker symbol I believe is VWELX and the one in this discussion Vanguard 500 Index Fund Admiral Class VFIAX

I did a test using the third party extension Quote Loader and the correct price was returned, see screen shots. I suggest you delete any erroneous data in the appropriate security history window and use Quote Loader to replace that data.

As Quote and exchange rate updater does not work well for you try the extension Quote Loader under EXTENSIONS – MANAGE EXTENSION
