But it hasn't been addressed. The problem is that the security price for TIAA Traditional come back consistently wrong at $100 instead of its nominal $1. I have tried many things over the years to address this: inventing a currency of "cents", trying to keep the security price from getting updated, etc. but I have had no luck and instead the following process has become automatic as I have done it hundreds of times:

Go to Tools -> Securities
scroll through many securities to TIAA Traditional
open TIAA Traditional, which will have "current price" and likely multiple historical dated prices as 100
go to "Clear All", confirm yes
set the price manually to 1
exit TIAA
exit "Edit Securities"

then go on my way.

It would be great to address this. A number of people have raised this and it's never been addressed. I'd be happy with any of the possible solutions:
1) Hard code the TIAA Traditional price to 1.00
2) be able to disable pricing updates for a particular secuity
3) have things Apple-scriptable enough to make a keyboard macro to do this

This is likely a problem with TIAA-CREF's formatting on downloading its accounts, but it would be good to be able to work around that problem in a way less cumbersome than present menu navigation and typing.

There also seem to be spurious "TIAA Traditional Balance Update" entries that appear in my alphabetically-first bank account, which is annoying, but those are not hard to delete wholesale every now and then. I do not know if that problem is related to the incorrect pricing of the TIAA Traditional entry.

Keep up the great work, hope to get a response.

The following post by buca on incorrect TIAA-Traditional share price downloads did not receive a response from IK and was closed. I am having the same issue, and have to go in and manually update the TIAA share value from $100 to $1 after each update. This is pretty awkward. Can you take another look at this?

"I just recently converted from Quicken. There is much I lile with Moneydance. But I have a problem with how to use TIAA-CREF. I have the “TIAA-Traditional” which is just like an interest bearing bank account. In other words, each dollar is 1 share, worth $1. When I download transactions, this price gets changed to $100. As much as I would like to convert every $1 into $100, that is not going to happen. It also generates the “Balance Adjustment” transaction which ‘Transfer’ transaction to an account which has nothing to do with it. How do you stop this? I looked at the Security detail and there seems like nothing can be done."

Cleary
