Per the attached 2 screenshots, I see a big spike in a price graph but cannot find it in Security History. How can I get rid of it?

    I'm a fellow user.

There looks to be a stock split involved. I would be comparing when this occurred n relation to the recorded price history.

You see the stock split in the History table also included in my posting. This table for the time period around the spike does not show anything which could have caused the short spike in the graph.

No big deal, just a very tiny bit annoying ;-) The financial press provides plenty of valid and reliable graphs for equity prices, usually with selectable time frames.

Just thought to mention another quirk with investments in MD.

    Hi Fred,

We are sorry to hear about the problem you have encountered.

In order to pinpoint, all the transactions on the exact date the "spike" occurs in the graph, you can use the bigger Net Worth graph (from the sidebar or Tools->Graphs and Reports).
Then, edit the graph by selecting "year to date" and "grouped by day".
Finally, you can search for that date in the quick-search field, on the home page.

Another option would be that the spike signifies an errant entry for a security price or currency exchange rate, on or near the date of it showing up.

    Hi Maddy,
No spike to see in the Net Worth Graph for that security.
All my MD is in US Dollars, no currency exchanges.
I provided a screen shot of the security history around the dates of the spike (July 2014) - no outlier seen there…
