my account balance on the website doesn't match what downloads in MD
Hello, new to MD. When I go to the website I see checked my balance on my401K account and it is positive, but what downloads is a negative balance. It's a Vanguard account from Fidelity. Should I be setting this up a different way? The discrepancy is really quite significant. Thanks

Hello,
I am in the process of cleaning up my own account like you are. One thing that happened to me is that my online account did not record my employer's matching contribution. So I had to manually enter it.
Hopefully, this helps a bit.

I'm a fellow user.
I would be looking to see what data is in Moneydance.
It would be extremely unusual for any download from a financial institution to include every transaction in an account. Direct connect is usually limited to 60-90 days and many institutions will only provide downloadable transactions back a few years.
