Please give us a simple way to correct the often erroneous Cost Basis

As I showed in 2 other posts (see links below) with specific details about erroneous Cost Basis displayed by MD (using MD 2021 (2010) on MacOS Big Sur), I beg Moneydance to please give us a way to easily correct the Cost Basis.

I do not reinvest dividends in the underlying security, and I typically have only one Buy (the original investment). I may have some Sell actions, but sales do not affect the Cost Basis/Share. Lot Matching can not be an issue here, since there is only one, the original lot, and there is nothing to average...

I could show several more examples - very annoying.
